Grilled French Toast Casserole with Nutella is a super easy, tasty and kid-friendly brunch dish. This is a 5-ingredient makeover dish that is loved by all young and old alike.

How to Make Nutella Grilled French Toast Casserole

1. Make a custard. In a medium bowl, combine four eggs, 1 1/4 cup milk, and one tablespoon vanilla extract.
2. Spread two tablespoons of Nutella into slices of bread.

3. Roll the bread crumbs into cylinder shapes.
4. Butter a 7 x 11 inch (2 quart) baking dish. Dip Nutella rolls into the cardboard and line up in a baking dish.

Please note: 7 x 11 is the right size and shape for this recipe, but if you don't have one, don't worry.  (If you want to use a larger pan, increase the ingredients accordingly. For a 9 x 13 inch pan, you need 1.5x sizes.).
5. Pour the remaining custard over the Nutella rolls.
6. Cool the custard bread, casserole for a few hours or until overnight.

7. Bake in a 375 degree F oven, 30-35 minutes.
8. To make it beautiful, I sprinkle some powdered sugar on top. Then I melted some more Nutella and drizzled on top.
Nutella and strawberries are served with side strawberries as they are a delicious combination, but other berries or fruits also work.
